Caring for children and their families in Kayamandi, Stellenbosch We feed 2000 children daily, and provide 30 internships for unemployed youths who work as education activators with Grade R - Grade 6 learners daily at our centre. We provide 100 unemployed women monthly food parcels as a supportive intervention for six months on our Sustainable Livelihoods Programme. We have vegetable gardens, workshops, training, mentorship, counselling and a book-sharing library for parents cannot afford to send their children to creche.

Wild Hearts Foundation Africa was founded to keep girls in school, and is committed to addressing the problems of menstrual education and accessible hygiene products while employing women to work in our factory which has manufactured and distributed over 68 000 reusable sanitary pads to school girls.

Eyes2Eyes is a registered non profit working to prevent blindness. Our mission is to assist young public health patients with preventable corneal blindness, with life changing sight restoration. Patients are referred to us from the Groote Schuur Hospital Cornea Clinic, the George Hospital and the Discount Vision Clinic in Port Elizabeth. We fund highly technical lenses to treat advanced cases of keratoconus. Public hospitals do not fund these lenses. Without our help, these patients are sent home to live a life with unnecessary blindness. Keratoconus starts in the teenage years. It's critical to treat these patients before their education, mental health & personal development is impacted.

Greyton Farm Animal Sanctuary is a registered non-profit and public benefit organisation in the Western Cape of South Africa. The sanctuary is home to just over 200 rescued farm animals, many of whom require special care due to neglect or agricultural breeding practices, or due to the old age they have been allowed to reach because they came to us. Our special care unit provides a safe space for treatment and care of our animals, so that we can give them the best life possible. The care centre also provides veterinary students with a teaching not given in vet school - the care of farm animals who are allowed to grow old.

Cupcakes Of Hope raises funds for children diagnosed with cancer, they do this through their love of baking and enjoying cupcakes. Volunteers are invited to become Cupcake Angels and 'bake a difference' and host fundraisers at work, their church or child's school. Cupcake of HOPE assist more than 200 patients every month by paying for their medical and other day-to-day needs like nutritional food and nappies to wheelchairs, crutches and prosthetics. This year more than 2500 Educational Activity Care Packs have been delivered to all 20 pediatric oncology wards across South Africa. As a Hospice, we provide care for people with advanced, incurable terminal illness in the final stages of life. We promote Palliative care which is treatment focused on the patient as opposed to the disease. We provide Hospice care which is even more focused on the person; as it is provided once treatment has stopped. It is a specialized area of medicine as a lot of the focus is on comfort, pain management and symptom control where most medicine is focused on fighting disease for cure. Both Palliative care and Hospice care have the same focus, they both promote an improved quality of life.

PSFA is a registered South African non-profit organisation dedicated to combating child hunger in schools. Since 1958, PSFA has served over two billion nutritious meals to impoverished learners, improving their concentration, attendance, and academic performance. PSFA’s holistic school nutrition support programme ensures thousands of children receive the nourishment they need to thrive, reinforcing the fact that you can’t teach a hungry child.
