Daarom zijn we er om ouders te ondersteunen. Dit doen we door verschillende vormen van praktische en emotionele ondersteuning. Hierbij richten we ons op ouders van kinderen die zijn overleden door een miskraam, stilgeboorte, overlijden tijdens de geboorte of op jonge leeftijd. We hebben specifieke aandacht voor zowel de pappa als de mamma.

Stichting Samen Oplopen maakt zich sterk voor gezinnen die een steuntje in de rug nodig hebben. Iedereen heeft weleens extra steun nodig – zeker ouders met opgroeiende kinderen. Maar niet ieder gezin kan terugvallen op een helpend netwerk. Bij Samen Oplopen komen zij in contact met een vaste vrijwilliger die een periode naast hen wil staan. Een professionele begeleider is beschikbaar waar nodig, maar wij geloven vooral in de kracht van vrijwilligers die vanuit vertrouwen en nabijheid aansluiten bij wat ouders nodig hebben. Lotus Private School is in 2018 in Mpongwe, Zambia opgericht door de daar woonachtige Nederlandse Jennifer Peeters. Samen met de gemeenschap zijn er sportteams opgericht (voetbal en netbal). Nu zijn wij op zoek naar de financiële middelen om een basketbal- en volleybalveld aan te leggen. Op deze manier hopen wij bij te dragen aan het creëren van positieve rolmodellen, een nuttige vrijetijdsbesteding en preventief ook tegen het hoge risico op middelengebruik zoals alcohol, codeïne en andere middelen. Daarnaast willen we de bestaande velden verbeteren (nieuwe goals) en sportmaterialen aanschaffen voor sportteams en de gymlessen voor de leerlingen van de school.

Stichting Kanchi richt zich op het ondersteunen van kansarme kinderen in Nepal via kleinschalige projecten op het gebied van onderwijs, gezondheidszorg en levensomstandigheden. Project Sammaan (ECD): Stimuleren van kleuteronderwijs om kinderarbeid en vroege huwelijken te voorkomen. Project Kosheli: Verstrekken van noodzakelijke schoolspullen (rugzakken, uniformen) aan de allerarmsten. Project Bright Nepal: Volledige ondersteuning van een kleinschalig weeshuis in Kathmandu. Project Sunwar: Directe financiering van schoolgelden voor kwetsbare families.

Wij bestrijden armoede en onrecht door jongeren en families in Oost Congo te ondersteunen op hun weg naar zelfredzaamheid. Met ons bewezen concept bieden wij diverse vakopleidingen aan in combinatie met de begeleiding bij het opzetten van een eigen bedrijf in groepsverband. Zo helpen wij jongeren om binnen één jaar zelfstandig in hun eigen levensonderhoud te voorzien. Dit doen zij door het zelf genereren van een duurzaam inkomen. Daarnaast begeleiden we jongeren bij agrarisch ondernemerschap. Dit heeft niet alleen een positieve impact op de jongeren en hun families, maar draagt ook bij aan de gehele gemeenschap. De saamhorigheid groeit en het aantal conflicten neemt af.
