The Go Ape Foundation protects chimpanzees and the forests they depend on. Chimps share 98.5% of our DNA and face growing threats from deforestation, illegal logging, mining, and the wildlife trade. Our main focus is nature education. We support local sanctuaries and small projects in rural, often forgotten areas of West and Central Africa, working closely with schools to teach children why their forests matter. Because real, lasting protection begins when young people understand and value the nature around them.
